What we collect
We collect your email address, display name, and family membership data. Your safe word is encrypted in your browser before transmission — we store only the encrypted bytes and cannot read the word.
How we use your data
We use your email to send quarterly reminders if you opt in, and for account authentication. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Encryption
Safe words are encrypted client-side using AES-GCM-256 with a PBKDF2-derived key. The plaintext never leaves your device.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@verifam.app. For EU residents this right is guaranteed under GDPR Article 17.
Cookies
We use only a single session cookie for authentication (Supabase). No advertising or tracking cookies.
